“Write as if your parents are dead.”
-Anne Lamott

Dead Parents is a blog about my weird childhood stories. For more info, check out the first post.

My name’s Peter Lundquist and I’m a “comedian” “living” in “Los Angeles” (unemployed comedy writer trying not to go out of his mind in North Hollywood). Find me online at chekhovgun.com and follow me on Twitter @chekhovgun.

I love you.

You do not. Liar. Don’t break the poor hearts of all those kids out there googling “Dead Parents”.

@Des – RSS is at the bottom of the page, in plain text without that cute orange squarish symbol. (Signing up the the RSS feed was my first act after reading the college story.)

It’s been a few months. Any more updates coming? I’ve enjoyed this blog immensely so far.

  8. I love you! You are hilarious ! because you are deep !
I landed on your site after googling . At first I wanted to show one article to my fiancé(?). I did not intend to keep reading. Then I thought I would read them all with her. Anyway, I went ahead and read a whole lot myself. I couldn’t stop. I really hope you are well. My fiancé(?) has been through a lot of hell with her ex (they had fully split a year before she met me) – and that hell from him continues – so yeah, i’m aware of tough stuff in life. Thank you for your writing.
